A Warm Welcome to Our New Coordinators
​Parker Memorial extends a heartfelt welcome to our new adult senior ministry coordinators, Tim and Linda Kaylor. ​While we are saddened to see Kim Sonnberger step down after many years of dedicated leadership in this ministry, we are also thrilled for her as she feels called back to her professional medical career.
Tim and Linda are ready to take the reins, continuing the monthly Pacesetter’s luncheon, which showcases guest speakers, singers, cooks, and more. Together as a couple, they will lead this ministry, bringing their unique energy and vision.
Tim Kaylor is a proud University of Alabama graduate who has turned his love for the outdoors into a fulfilling life journey. As a dedicated Calhoun County Master Gardener, Tim enjoys spending his days nurturing a wide variety of plants and experimenting with innovative gardening techniques, including the sustainable practice of Hugelkultur with raised beds.
Tim’s enthusiasm for horticultural studies shines through in every project he takes on, whether he’s tending to his garden or sharing tips with fellow enthusiasts. His fondness for cooking and baking adds another layer to his connection with the land, as he delights in bringing fresh garden ingredients into his kitchen. With 28 years of experience in Foodservice Management, Tim combines his expertise and passion to inspire others to enjoy both the beauty of gardening and the joys of homemade meals.
