Tom Bonds - Minister to Single Adults

 

We at Parker Memorial have had a commitment to minister to single adults for many years. The ministry has gone through different seasons of life but the purpose and goal has remained constant. We are striving to lead single adults in their personal spiritual growth to reach higher and grow upward toward the likeness of Christ. As this takes place we will join together in ministry to one another and become involved with one another in following Jesus in His Kingdom Purpose. We are never alone when we are with Him. Our individual needs are met and we join with a host of others of like mind and heart in His work.

We are here to be ministers. If we can help you or someone you know at any time, feel free to call on us. We will point you to Jesus who is the Wonderful Counselor, the Prince of Peace, the Almighty God, our Savior and our Lord.

Fellowship Times

It's nice to be able to just spend some times with some friends. Whether it's at the church or in the homes of some of our members, we enjoy growing closer together as friends in a Christian atmosphere.

Singles Retreat Weekend to Gatlinburg

This weekend retreat is an annual event and includes Christian speakers, concerts, and occasionally a little snow.

Roadtrips

We take several roadtrips during the year, from beautiful sceanic spots such as Helena, GA and Callaway Gardens to whitewater rafting.

Camping & Fishing Trips

There are several local areas that make nice places to spend a night camping and to take in a little fishing.
