Intercessory Prayer Ministry

In our Intercessory Prayer Ministry, prayers are directed to:

Missions - Praying for missionaries on their birthdays and praying for specific needs on the mission field.

Ministries - Each staff member gives input on the various ministries of PMBC, and we pray for individual needs of these ministries.

Civic Leaders - A current list of our local and national leaders is available, and we pray for them by name asking God to provide them with wisdom in their leadership.

Lost - We pray that God will provide us opportunities to bring unsaved people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

PMBC - We pray for our church staff and for each member by name, asking God to bless them.

Physical Needs - We pray for healing for the specific needs directed to us and for God’s comfort in times of sorrow.

We are praying for God to raise up more intercessors.
If you would like to share in the rewards of a faithful prayer life, contact Janice Hudson, 238-0774, or Anne Powers, 237-5766.

God’s Word says, “If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray…”
Let’s claim His promise to heal our land!

The same scripture is received as "milk" by some and as "meat" by others. Some believers, it seems, have not ingested enough of the Word to develop a mature spiritual digestive system. They can only access what they can skim off the surface.  Others, though, have taken in enough spiritual food that their spiritual digestive systems can metaboloze meat. They can access the deeper, more substantive truths in  God's Word. How have they reached this maturity? The writer of Hebrews puts it this way: "...who, by constant use, have trained themselves..." (Heb. 5:14). Do you want to move on from milk to meat? Make constant use of the Word of God. (Live A Praying Life)

"We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil"
(Heb. 5:11-14).
